Thanksgiving at Nona and Papa's
The kids just love , love, love being with their twin cousins who came up from L.A.
Thanksgiving in Tahoe
We had a great time at the cabin in Tahoe. Tara and Andrew got a cabin for the weekend and we all crashed it. The kids had a blast on the lake in the paddle boat. The boys had a taco cook off. Andrew walked away with the first place prize. Buster had a hard time walking around.(Tara's poor little dog) We ate and ate and ate.
Of course a little guitar hero.
Me and Bug
Azzi and Cameron
Our North Star adventure
What is better that Mikuni's and ice skating?
Baysia was the champion ice skater!! She fell down thousands of times but never wanted to stop. She had jeans on and finally borrowed Aunt Tara's gloves that kept falling off. Wet and all there was no stopping her. She has such determination.

Azdin starts Flag Football
Could it be? Yes Pat's dream finally came true! Azdin is playing football. They both had so much fun. Azdin did a great job and Pat helped coach. We all know that Pat has a soft heart but it really showed when we were at the end of season party and he got teary eyed. Nothing touches the heart like a little football.
LA Trip
We started out surprising the kids and told them lets just go on a trip and see where we end up. Azdin being the stressor that he is couldn’t handle it. He wondered what would happen if we ran out of gas and ended up in the desert, or if we got lost and couldn’t find our way home. He thought it was a better idea to plan it out. We finally asked them where they would want to go if they could choose anywhere. Azdin choose South Africa and Baysia choose Montana but a close second was Disneyland and to see some of their favorite cousins the twins!
First Stop Fire Station
We drove straight from home to L.A. fire department to see their fun Uncle Dan. It was really so much fun!!! Dan was so awesome he let the kids dress in his outfits and then we took a tour of the beautiful old department, he let the kids play on the engine and even honk the horn. To top it off he took them out back to spray a fire hose. The kids absolutely loved it!! Uncle Dan rocks!! Those firefighters look like they have too much fun there.
Look how big these smiles are!!
Have you ever seen a cuter fire man?
The Engine
The kids got to spray down a truck. It's a pretty powerful hose!
Thanks Uncle Dan!!! What a treat for everyone!
Disneyland
We left at 4 a.m. from our house went straight to the fire dept. then straight to Disneyland. I can’t even tell you how much fun we had! It was truly a perfect day. The drive down, the stop at the fire department and then the most amazing day at Disneyland with my favorite people in the whole world and to top it off it was mine and Pat’s 12 year anniversary!!! To start off our Disneyland trip, while we were standing in line to buy our tickets a Disneyland employee came up and gave us a free hopper ticket, it's not often someone comes up to you and gives you a hundered dollars. Here come the rides and Dad had to scare the kids right away and take them on the first stop to the Tower of Terror!!! Baysia is a bit anxious but still a trooper.
Azdin is scared out of his mind!! I kept telling him he doesn’t have to go followed by dad saying yes you do and even offering money or gifts. We finally got to the front of the line and Azdin refused to get on. Baysia and I got on then last minute Azdin jumped in with me and Baysia. At this point there was no room for Pat to sit with us so he had to sit in the front. I think it helped being far away from dad who would laugh at our terror the whole time. Azdin held me tight and closed his eyes most of the ride. I kind of did the same! We made it through!
Pat and the kids won twin monkeys for the kids and their twin cousins.
In line the kids liked to keep busy taking pictures and listening to their ipods. They are at a great age where they can be a little more patient with the wait.
She said this is how princesses wait in line! Kitty princesses! Nice photography job Azzi!
Baysia in line with her ipod.
How cute are my 3-d munchkins!
Firework show
We were on our way to meet dad in line and passed right in front of the castle when the fireworks went off. Tinkerbell flew right in front of us. Baysia was in heaven. It couldn’t have been more perfect. As we walked by in a big line of people we got to the end and Baysia just sat down in the middle of the street to watch. The only bad part of the day is we couldn’t find dad in line and his phone died. Finally, Thank goodness were reunited after about an hour. Yikes! Baysia finally fell asleep in line. The kids seriously were so tired but never even whined or complained even once. I know we were at the happiest place on earth but it was amazing! I told Pat that this whole day was one of my most favorite days ever! Everything was perfect!
Azdin is trying so hard to stay awake. He is so cute. He didn't want to miss a thing! He barely slept in the car on our way down leaving at 4 a.m. Now it was 11 p.m. and he kept asking for one more ride.
I think Pat is falling asleep too!
Dad is our hero! Anyone that knows Pat knows how strong he is. Seriously though, not only did he carry two sets of twin monkeys and our backpack but two very tired kids to our car. This picture sums it up… He really is the sweetest husband and dad. He takes such good care of his family! We have been through a lot together and there really is no other person in this world I’d rather go through good times and bad times with! I love you honey!! Thanks for being my main squeeze! Happy Anniversary!
Having Fun with Twin Cousins
The Beach
The last day of our trip we decided to go to the beach! It was a beautiful day. The kids were collecting rocks and seashells in a chip bag when all of a sudden a seagull came and stole it. We all got a kick out of it! We finally found our bag down on the other end of the beach, took some pictures and headed home.
Halloween
I don't know if October or December is a buisier month? We have so many fun acitivities in Oct. It was so buisy this year that we decided not to have our anual party for the kids. I was kinda sad but maybe next year. Here are a few of our activities...
This is our schools carnival.

Azdin's day to be scary! A compromise...

Six Flags for Halloween Theme

Ward Halloween Party

The canidates were even there!
Masquerade

The girls at the masquerade. We don't even know who that guy is in the skeleton costume. I think masks are a little creepy!
Halloween night at Waldorf

We went to Waldorf’s Halloween festivity with our cousins and Marsha and Don. When we got there the kids waited for their angel tour guide. Then there was a lit path for us to follow through the forest with a story and stops along the way. Each stop had to do with the story and the kids would receive a homemade gift. The theme this year was a story about a dragon and a kingdom. At the end of the path the kids were given cider and homemade cookies.

Greenli, Azure, Azdin and Baysia

Scarlette the fifties girl and Baysia the victorian.

Halloween Crafts
I realized after I had taken down my Halloween decorations that I didn't get a chance to take pictures of them first. My fireplace mantel had all sorts of black beads and ancestor witch pictures. I wish I got a picture everything before. I love Halloween decorations.

Hallween Costumes / Christmas Cards
by Lindsey Erickson www.lindseyericksonphotography.com
I have to say I think this is my favorite costume ever! I kind of had this idea if I could make Baysia’s costume right and could find a good one for Azdin we could do a really fun vintage Christmas card. So I used a pirate dress she had and added tool and a cameo. Azdin’s costume I ended up just buying when we were in L.A. My favorite part was the hat. I found all sorts of cool items and made this dazzling hat. I think it turned out pretty dang cute!! Anyway, so my friend Lindsey took the kids out by an old railroad station and took these darling photos. The kids had so much fun and were totally in to it. Lindsey did an amazing job with the photos and she designed the card for us too. Thanks Lindsey!
